The actuator itself is bad but what we are offering is the metal actuator bracket with bushings. The metal bracket was only offered on the 79-86 Mustangs, in 1987-93 they used a plastic bracket which can be broken when people try to remove the actuator without drilling the rivet. This version will work on all 79-93 Mustangs and is a stronger option for the 87-93 cars. The reproduction actuators all come with plastic brackets. This is a used original we removed from a 1986 Mustang GT.
