LSC-R #007 |
LSC-R #007 has been around a long time....but not as an LSC-R. Starting life as a 1986 Lincoln Mark VII LSC, this car belonged to a personal friend of mine (Lee Clary) and he owned it before I bought my first Mark VII or even got into being a Mark VII enthusiast. This car was right along side the LSC-R #001 while I was building it and there were many first tried on this car. This was the very first car we converted to coil spring suspension and the first one that we removed the ABS on...it was also the car we prototyped our Mark VII leather interior kits on. Lee called me one day and said it was time to part with his LSC so naturally with all the history of this car, I had to buy it and finish it off as an LSC-R. This one fell into the #007 slot and it is fitting as it may just be the most unique one yet with many unique modifications and features. I have always been a James Bond fan so some liberty may be taken to add some special things to this one.

This is how the car looked when I took delivery from Lee. Riding on coil springs, 5 speed equipped.

The car is in need of paint. We have removed the wheels and installed a set of factory SE wheels for the time being until we decide what wheels this one will wear.

This is the engine as it arrived to us. Lee likes using a drill press as you can see by the many holes...this was an attempt to lighten things up a bit.

On to the modifications. This car now has a stereo in it....3 amplifiers, 8" free air subs in the rear deck along with mids and as you can see in this picture....the rear tweeters are mounted in custom made trim panels. We had a bunch of stereo equipment around the shop so we decided we would do this one up right! The sound quality is great with this system.

This is a one-off custom dash cluster! Countless hours went into making this....which makes this the ONLY LSC in existence with a 150mph speedometer!!

This LSC-R is also equipped with a very unique set of Marchal lights....these are the very rare driving lenses.

Another unique Bond-like feature on this car is the anti-tailgating system! This has a trunk mounted fluid resevoir filled with washer fluid and at the touch of a console mounted button you can spray a fluid mist on the car that is tailgating you!
We have converted this LSC to Mass Air and installed a MAC Cold air induction kit as well as our 3G Alternator conversion. A stage 3 Stillen Brake upgrade has also been added for improved braking performance and 3.73 gears have been installed.
This car has been sold in an unfinished state and has relocated to sunny Florida.
