Owner: Doug Studdard/Bama Chips

Doug's Roush was involved in a mishap during a bad storm one night and ended up off road and through a fence. Most of the car suffered minor damage so Doug decided it was a good opportunity to repaint the car and add a little more flash to it.

With all the body work done it was ready for paint. We used a white primer which will allow the basecoat to get better coverage when applied. The quarter windows were removed....these are a "floating" style window with no molding and there is no way to do a proper paint job without removing them.

We are laying red stripes out over the car so the Colorado Red basecoat was layed out.

Next the stripes are measured, layed out and taped up.

Then we repainted the entire car the original white. All the parts removed will be painted seperately.

We decided to use the 5% rule and do a minor body modification. This rule simply means that only 5% of the people looking at the car are likely to see what was done. Can you figure it out?

The stripes are untaped and we are ready to now apply the clearcoat.

Reassembly.....everything is coming together now.

It was a perfect opportunity for Doug so he decided to add a new set of wheels...they are 20's.

We also added the new grill with center mounted lights.

Definitely a huge difference from when it was in stock form. Doug owns Bama Chips so if you have any tuning needs drop by his website: Bama Chips

Take a look in your favorite magazines and look for the Bama Chips ad...you'll see this picture in that ad. Doug really knows his stuff when it comes to tuning late model Fords so give him a call!
