Just what EVERY SVO owner needs!! A high torque mini-starter! $135.00

At only 8.5lbs (vs. the 18 lbs stock field wound starter in those early years) it often reduces weight almost 50% and requires less cranking amps.  Includes a conversion wire kit for the upgrade complete with instructions.

  Because of it’s very small size it potentially increases header clearance and reduces the effects of “hot start”.  This starter works well on higher compression engines.

MAC TOOLS SVO


This is perhaps the Rarest of ALL Mustang SVOs, it is the only white 84 made and is the only car with document SCCA Race history sponsored by a major company. This car was used in MAC Tools advertising during its tour of duty. Last heard, this rare car was purchased by a Michigan based SVOCA member and was displayed during the 2005 SVO Reunion held in Kentucky.

You saw Ken's Comp Prep here first,  Ken's car was featured in the November '99 Issue of Muscle Mustang & Fast Fords in a Mustang Triathlon event..(That's me in the passenger seat of the Red Cobra).


1986 Competition Prep SVO with 51,000 original miles on the clock.Wheels have been refinished by Wheel Worx in Millersville, Maryland.


 I thought many of you would like to see some pics of Ken's engine......so here are two.

That wrapped tube is connected to a Spearco Intercooler. This car was purchased by us back in 2001 and restored to stock condition. It now belongs to an SVOCA member on Maryland's Eastern Shore. The drivetrain from this car now resides in our Teal '86 SVO.
