STILLEN Sport Rotors are designed to maximize brake performance while staying with the original equipment-sized rotors and brake pads. Using only the finest aftermarket rotors available, each rotor structure is studied(i.e., vent design, annulus size, overall diameter and swept area). With computer-aided design, the cross drill pattern is then determined. This pattern is critical, for it must correctly sweep the brake pad to increase its initial bite and allow for out-gassing while also cleaning the entire brake pad surface. The sweep will eliminate hot spots and maximize the brake pad friction to the rotor. The added air-surface, created by cross drilling, will increase the rotors ability to dissipate heat and cool more effectively. These rotors feature a unique radius-chamfer designed to strengthen holes agains stress, heat and torque experienced while braking. Rotors, be they stock, cross drilled or slotted can crack under severe heat and stress. The radius chamfer process performed on each and every one of their sport rotors will minimize such and occurence. Most STILLEN rotors are gold cadmium-plated which helps protect them from the elements while keeping the rotors looking their best. For these rotors to perform at their best, they must be used in conjunction with STILLEN Metal Matrix Brake Pads.
Magazine test results on STILLEN Sport Rotors for a 60 to 0 test
showed a decrease of 12' in stopping distance for a '95 Mustang GT.

STILLEN Metal-Matrix Brake Pads were developed to give automotive enthusiasts a superior alternative to stock friction materials. Designed for use with STILLEN Sport Rotors, Metal-Matrix composite brake pads have a higher friction coefficient than original equipment brake pads to grip the rotor more aggressively. They also operate more effectively at higher heat ranges to reduce brake fade. The pad composition has no material harder than the rotor itself, thus ensuring long rotor life. Metal-Matrix pads also generate very low levels of dust.
The Big Brake systems are engineered to replace the OEM-sized calipers, rotors and brake pads. Once installed, the difference in stopping power is dramatic. Powerful four-piston Calipers, that are larger than stock, are sued to apply tremendous force to wider brake pads and over-sized vented rotors to stop your vehicle like a Ferrari F-40 or Porsche Turbo. With their larger size, comes the ability to dissipate heat far better than stock. You will now be able to stop your vehicle repeatedly from speed. Brake fade will no longer be an issue. Our high performance front Brake Systems are very complete. Each axle kit comes with two four-piston calipers, two large size cross-drilled rotors, high performance brake pads, brake lines, hardware, spindles(if needed) and instructions.

Don't forget the brake fluid, it is essential to change your brake
fluid just like you do the engine oil. Even though it is a sealed system,
brake fluid absorbs moisture and needs to be changed periodically. Our
Motul fluid is DOT 4, 100% synthetic and has a high boiling point of 585
degrees Farenheit. It is compatible and can be mixed with all brake fluids
except silicon or mineral based fluids.
