This is the little round bumper that is located at the top rear of the door on the 1984-92 Lincoln Mark VII and 1983-88 Ford Thunderbird. The purpose of this bushing is to keep the door from hitting the roof and chipping the paint when closed. If they are not already missing on your door then they are probably flattened. These are essential if your paint is nice or if you are restoring/painting your car so that you can save your finish and a costly repair. 1 kit required per car.
