This is our current project, a 2003 Mustang GT that had an unfortunate incident and ended up in a ditch on it's side as picture above. The car belongs to a local Alabama resident, Jonathon Carrell.

Here is the site of the accident, the car had to be extracted from the ditch.

Nearly a complete rollover, Jon had to get out by climbing up and out of the passenger door.

The quarter panel received enough damage that it will have to be replaced. Amazingly the driver door received no damage!

The front end of the car was shoved over significantly.

Once the car arrived at our shop we got it up in the air so we could get a good look at the damage and assess everything.

We started with the rear of the car. The quarter panel will have to be replaced.

This is the donor quarter panel from a salvage yard. We will disect this from the 1/4 of a car sent to us and attach it to the GT.

We had to remove the back window and start to cut away the original quarter panel.

New quarter panel attached to the car. It has just been welded in place and now needs to be finished.
The quarter panel is now finished and we have decided to shave the spoiler off the decklid.
While we were at it we decided to shave the side scoops off the car and clean up the lines of the Mustang a little more. Ford should have done this from the start in our opinion.

Next we move to the front of the car. The frame rails will have to be replaced so we must completely remove the interior and the engine/transmission.

Once the drivetrain was removed the car could be taken back over to our Paint & Body to get the rails disected from the firewall.

This is the driver side rail in front of the shock tower.

This is the passenger side rail in front of the shock tower.

This is hard to see for a car owner but actually easier to do than the quarter panel replacement.

New rails with shock towers are in place.

This is the new front box assembly with new rails and core support.

We are changing the color from the original boring white.....The new color is sprayed in the engine compartment.

Since everything is apart it is a perfect time to add a line lock.

Since the engine/trans were coming out a new set of MAC Long tube headers and an AJE tubular K-member were installed. We are dealers for both MAC and AJE.

The engine is back in the car, we are also adding a set of springs and Bilstein shocks and struts during the rebuild.

The finished product! Reborn as a one of a kind modern day Muscle Car! The color is a Blue Black pearl and is difficult to photograph but the paint flips from black to a deep blue pearl.

The rear spoiler, side scoops, emblems and antenna have all been shaved from the car for a cleaner look.

We were a little disappointed in the ride height from the Racecraft springs.....hopefully it will drop down a bit after a few miles. Everything else came out great....315/35-17 BFG Drag radials out back and 275/40-17 Summitomo tires out front.
